Taking snuggling to new heights

Lala + Lulu's penpals, Kate + Jocelyn, were sent this photo from Manager of Lifesaving, Natalie, of the girls today hanging out in the shelter.

That is Lulu, sleeping entirely on top of her momma, Lala, today. Thanks to the hard efforts of Michelle and other volunteers, every dog at ACCT has a brand new bed, and the girls frequently have a blanket (or two!) to sleep with as well. But, without fail, Lulu's preferred sleeping locale is on top of her sweet sweet momma.

How could you not want to adopt the girls so they can sleep in a pile of sweetness in your home?

Meet Lala + Lulu!

Hello! Meet Lala and Lulu, a bonded mother/daughter pair that was found together as strays. Lala and Lulu have been at the shelter for months and are favorites of the staff and volunteers at ACCT. Spend one minute with these girls and it is obvious as to why -- they are irresistible!

Despite Lulu spending most of her adolescence in the shelter (she is only about a year old), both girls are loving, happy, spunky and sweet. Lala has obviously been a momma many times, and you can tell she loves her daughter, Lulu. She is patient and kind with her spunky energetic girl, and lets Lulu her chew on her ears, jump on her, play tug of war, and sometimes sleep directly on top of her. Because Lulu is still young -- very much still a puppy! -- she has tons of energy, but she is very smart and is learning basic obedience training with her PenPals, Kate and Jocelyn.

Lulu uses her momma as a platform for sloppy kisses.

Lala, although grown, is only about 4 or so, and is a calm well-behaved girl who really does not need a ton of exercise. Both girls are great with body handling, loved going for a ride in the car, and love the company of people.
